Vineeth Veeramachaneni is a senior at The Lawrenceville School, researching at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity and quantum computing. Vineeth is currently working on patenting a novel data ingestion pipeline using machine learning and artificial intelligence that will speed up the process of generating insights from large real-world datasets. The innovative method is expected to improve the costs and time in cloud computing significantly.
As the founder and CEO of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Safeteens Online, Vineeth is passionate about cybersecurity and is in the process of researching new cryptographic schemes that quantum-safe. Vineeth also developed a global platform where students can share collaborate and contribute topics of their interest and develop content for digital use. Safeteens Online partners with Dept. of Homeland Security, National Cybersecurity Alliance and several academic institutions including Princeton University, Georgia Tech to enable opportunities for students from across the globe. Since 2016 Safeteens has raised more than $50,000 for development of the platform impacting more than 32 schools and growing across the globe.
Vineeth presented his platform at several impact conferences and is a finalist at the UN Youth Assembly challenge for initiatives that impact UN Sustainable Development Goals. Vineeth’s Safeteens platform is also a finalist the NJJHS and a semifinalist at the Wharton Social Impact Initiative.
Vineeth is a TEDx organizer, where he created a financially sustainable organization with an all youth run committee to organize TEDx events for students from various school districts. Vineeth constituted a panel with eminent professionals to mentor and coach for students to deliver their vision of the world.
